Most commonly represented amongst bubbies is the star sigil! Stars represent the mysterious beyond that all bubbies- “angel” and “demon” alike- came from.
Suns represent bubbies who are most active during the day. Sun bubbies are active, playful, and bubbly. Sun bubbies are commonly from the plains, pastures, or any place that would receive a lot of sunlight.
Moon bubbies are mysterious creatures who prefer nocturnal life to the daytime. They are often shy and reserved, but open up to those they trust. Moon Bubbies are most commonly found in caves, dark forests, or mountain crags.
X Bubbies are adventurers who are prone to mischief. Magic tends to either overwhelm them or lay completely dormant; either way, they never stop exploring and finding trouble to get into.
X Bubbies can come from any region, but are particularly keen on forests and abandoned human settlements.
Bubbies with the fire sigil are drawn to hot environments, such as volcanos and lava pools. Bubs with attunement to fire magic tend to find it easier to spend time in hotter temperatures, and some can even bathe in firey pools of lava.
Rarely, bubbies have been known to take on more reptilian, or dragon-like forms. These types are elusive though, and prefer to stick to their hoards of coal.
Every now and then, a bubby with THREE heads will be born, otherwise known as a Cerberi! These bubbies are believed to have ties with the ancient guardians, but also tend to get in fights over their bodily autonomy.
*This trait may be combined with a trait of equal or lesser value, or an additional trait upgrade must be used to combine with an ultra rare trait or higher.
**The heads may be two different head traits at the cost of an Uncommon Trait Upgrade. Three at the cost of a rare trait upgrade.
Shockingly, a few bubbies have been discovered with no skin or muscles on their heads! Yet, through the power of magic, they can still move their head and operate normally. While these bubbies LOOK spooky, they are generally the friendliest of the bunch!(***Note: This trait does not automatically get earless and eyeless: traits must be used separately.)
**The skull can be a skull of any type and shape.
Cave-dwellers or cave-born bubbies will sometimes take on the traits of bats. Most of these bubs develop poor eyesight, but enhanced hearing and smell.
Sometimes more aerial-inspired bubbies will grow, or be born with a beak!
Close to the canine, but with a more wild and rogue-like touch. The fox style head has a thin, pointed snout, made especially for sniffin’ and diggin’.
Bubbies will also take on the traits of a feline. From the small bridge of a housecat to a large nose of a tiger, bubbies can reflect them all.
Far often than none, Bubbies will take on the traits of a dog, or a canine. This includes a short to medium snout with an adorable wet nose to boot.
A Bubby with classic features means that they possess goat-like traits, including goat nostrils and a stout snout.
It’s uncommon, but sometimes bubbies can be found with two heads!
**The heads may be two different head traits at the cost of an Uncommon Trait Upgrade.
Bubbies with third eyes don’t often have psychic connections like Bubbies with the third eye sigil, but instead, need it to be able to spot more delicious fruit for them to snack on!(***Note: Sigils still appear on the forehead with the third eye trait, they just go “underneath” the third eye.)
Some Bubbies forgo having two eyes and instead only use one to see! These Bubbies are known to see a wider range of colors than others.
Instead of glow, magic can manifest itself more powerful, and instead spill out of the Bubby’s eyes in smoke form.
Bubbies can rarely be born without eyes at all, but still retain eye sockets. These sockets end up being holes that appear to house nothing but the void… But still look adorable.
(***Note: When paired with the skull head trait, this becomes an uncommon trait.)
Cave-dwelling and sea-dwelling Bubbies will sometime develop multiple eyes to help them see a wider scope in front of them.
(****Note: Eyes in this trait must be in logical places.)
