Traits

Wings this tiny have most Bubbies perplexed at how they gain flight, even without the aid of magic, but they still do! Fly wings, or Bee wings, are tiny and round and adorable, but most importantly… functional!

While most insect wings are fairly common, Butterfly wings are seen less frequently. They usually possess hypnotizing patterns that help Bubbies blend in with their surroundings!

Oddly enough, some Bubbies are known to grow wings that resemble leaves! These wings, when not aided by magic, tend to only be practical for camouflage, but the more magically attuned Bubbies can still maintain flight.

Flowers will sprout from a Bubby’s back in place of wings when they spend most of their time in a flower patch, aiding their camouflage and making them adorable to boot.

Sometimes Bubbies are born with TWO sets of wings! It is unknown if these actually aid flight at all, but they look super cool.

Sometimes Bubbies will develop a protective shell for their delicate wings. The shell often has spots or an interesting pattern adorning it, much like a beetle.

Often confused with angel wings, but smaller and more colorful, on rare occasions Bubbies will be born with, or grow bird wings!

**NOTE: Bird wings cannot be longer/larger than a Bubby in size, and white/gold cannot be the predominant color.

It’s odd, but wings can grow out naturally torn, as if there were something in the Bubby’ genes indicating it had angelic traits, but lost them somehow.

(These wings can be any color, but do not glow.)

A wing’s membrane may never fully grow in, and as a result, a Bubby will have a spooky skeletal wing! This tends to happen to Bubbies that spend their life in caves, or dark locations, although rarely.

Wings will sometimes grow out of the head, but still function for flight! Bubbies with this wing trait often look funny, being flung on the wind by their head.

As if two sets were enough! On the rarest of occasions, Bubbies can have THREE sets of wings!

Bubbies can be born with no wings at all, and generally are flightless without them. But still the sweetest and most adorable.

Like all Angel traits, they very, very rarely occur in Bubbies. What makes Angel wings stand out from bird wings, is they are usually twice or three times a Bubby’s size, are gold or white, and have a radiant glow.

Hooves are most common amongst Bubbies, given their natural affinities to goats.

Paws are also common, especially in feline and canines, but can occur naturally in any Bubby.

While paws often have claws, Bubbies can also just have round nubs for feet with sharp claws protruding out of them. These feet often still have paw pads, and are understood to be related to paws somehow.

Nub feet, but with round claws instead of sharp ones.

Oftentimes bird traits tend to be rarer in Bubbies, but with their reptilian ancestors, these traits have become more common. Bird feet in Bubbies usually come from furry nubs and end in clawed toes.

Reptilian legs are common within arid regions, but still fairly uncommon overall. Reptilian legs can grow fur anywhere from a thin layer to a shaggy overcoat.
