Some Bubbies have large Irises that encompass the majority of their eye. These are called “bug” eyes, because they make a Bub look insectoid.
Bubbies living in hotter and higher altitude environments will often develop red sclera as a protection against the high temperatures.
*This trait may be combined with an eye trait of lesser value or an additional trait upgrade must be used to combine with an uncommon trait or higher.
Nocturnal Bubbies commonly possess dark sclera, which represents enhanced nighttime vision.
It’s rare to find a Bubby with colored sclera that isn’t dark or red, but it can happen! Some say the color is a mutation of the common traits.
*This trait may be combined with an eye trait of lesser value or an additional trait upgrade must be used to combine with an rare trait or higher.
Sometimes, if a Bubby is very keen on something, they will develop shaped pupils to represent what they love. The most common of this is the heart shaped pupil, which often occurs when Bubbies fall in love.
Every now and then, a Bubby will be born with mismatching eye colors. This often only enhances their adorableness, though!
Bubbies can be born without sight, especially for those who live in dark places, but it only enhances their other senses!
Bubbies with third eyes don’t often have psychic connections like Bubbies with the third eye sigil, but instead, need it to be able to spot more delicious fruit for them to snack on!(***Note: Sigils still appear on the forehead with the third eye trait, they just go “underneath” the third eye.)
Some Bubbies forgo having two eyes and instead only use one to see! These Bubbies are known to see a wider range of colors than others.
Instead of glow, magic can manifest itself more powerful, and instead spill out of the Bubby’s eyes in smoke form.
*This trait may be combined with a trait of equal or lesser value, or an additional trait upgrade must be used to combine with an ultra rare trait or higher.
Bubbies can rarely be born without eyes at all, but still retain eye sockets. These sockets end up being holes that appear to house nothing but the void… But still look adorable.
(***Note: When paired with the skull head trait, this becomes an uncommon trait.)
For no logical reason, Bubbies can be found with different kinds of liquids bleeding from their eyes. (This can be slime, blood, oil, etc.)Research says it’s likely linked to their environment, but sometimes it just… happens!
Some Bubbies just can’t stop crying! Bubbies are known to show emotion and even cry when they’re sad, but not as much as these Bubbies do. These Bubbies almost always have tears pouring from their eyes, even when they’re not sad.
Cave-dwelling and sea-dwelling Bubbies will sometime develop multiple eyes to help them see a wider scope in front of them.
(****Note: Eyes in this trait must be in logical places.)
Bubbies with Angelic traits don’t always fit the typical human perception of “Angels”. Most are known to possess forms odder than natural Bubbies, including being covered in eyes that have no logical placement.
Membrane wings are the most popular amongst Bubbies, and part of what gives them their devilish looks. Membrane wings can have a single digit or an entire clawed hand that can be used to brace their landings!
The membrane of the wing can be transparent!
(***Note: You may combine this trait with any other wing trait.)
The membrane of the wing can be pretty thin, making wings less ideal for long term flight, but better for occasional gliding or longer jumps.
Insect wings are fairly common as well. They can vary in length and shape, but aren’t always practical for flight.
Like typical insect wings, but Dragonfly wings are long and thin with two sets. They are known for their beautiful rainbow shimmer.
